Here are a couple hero shots highlighting one of the largest smallmouth bass we’ve ever encountered. My dad was on the receiving end this day of a truly epic take, on the surface and boatside. The beast appeared out of nowhere, and I had to immediately pull the oar to prevent the line from getting chaffed.
