The Great Pumpkinhead Disc Golf Tournament was an overwhelming success! Lots of smiling and talented faces showed up Halloween morning for a few hours of evil goodness and hot grilled favors. We even had a hole in one!!!
Costumes ranged from Cheech Marin to a Dancing Hula Girl, and towering above all others was our 70’s basketball player, complete with tube socks, headband, and the short tights. Pumpkins were placed on top of all the baskets, including the practice tee. Several putting and driving challenges kept the participants bringing their “A” game, culminating in our flagship event and inspiration for the event: The Great Pumpkinhead Disc Golf Putt-OFF!
Our wonderful sponsors were prominently featured on the 18 hole course, including the t-shirts, sponsor forms, flyers, and online media. Community minded, our extended family helped us along to bring this tourney to the masses.
Next year’s event is already being discussed, with sure hopes the Great Pumpkinhead will be better and brighter in years to come.
